Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, it is big business. In thriving urban centres, in rural villages, it is a common scene to see commuters travelling to work with a cup of something hot in tow. In the age of increased ecological enlightenment, we should be encouraged to take our own flask cups to the coffee shops to save on paper cups.
While I am not trying to endorse a particular brand the Keepcups use a form of plastic that does no produce toxins when it gets hot. They are BPA free and non-toxic.
Everyone should invest in their own preferred takeaway flask and perhaps coffee shops can encourage their customer by offering ‘green’ discount to those who do take the initiative to think of the environment while on their commute.
